Bob Pike, Chief Operating Officer, SITEFORUM group
bob_pike_siteforum100x120Bob Pike has worked in the Global Computer and Telecommunications industry for 31 years, with one exception of becoming a banker and spending 3 years as VP of Global Cash Management at Citbank NA. His career has covered the SITEFORUM Group, MDT (Major Deal Team Limited), dR (Digital Rum), Mobileway/Mobile365, Microsoft, VXtreme, Informix, Citibank, Hitachi, McDonnell Douglas and AES Data.
As the European Founder of VXtreme International, the first start up providing the first 28.8 video codec which worked over the web, later to become Windows Media, he was on the team that exited to Microsoft and then as a founder of the Microsoft Mobile Collaboration group in partnership with Randy Granovetter, bringing the first windows mobile smart phone to market in 1999.  Bob is not afraid to take risks when it comes to pushing the boundaries of innovation.
But most important is now the work being done to help small and large companies develop their true potential and establishing the business models that make the difference.
As a founding partner of the angel investment/management services company MDT, the current project is as the interim COO of the SITEFORUM Group and is helping to maintain their best in class Saas delivery of ‘Social Networking for business”. Having since helped launch three other startup companies, his saying is ‘Success is knowing when you have finished’, and he is not finished, so plans are in place to help many understand how this innovation can enhance their company’s performance ,this is the big task today.
